If an employee's employment needs to be terminated, we follow a fair and respectful process that considers all relevant factors and mitigates any negative impact on the employee. Our termination process includes:
๐ Conducting a thorough and impartial investigation to gather all relevant facts and evidence ๐ค Providing the employee with clear and specific reasons for the termination and their rights and options ๐ Documenting all aspects of the termination process and maintaining confidential records of the process and outcome ๐ผ Providing the employee with the appropriate notice period or compensation, as required by law and/or company policy ๐โโ๏ธ Treating the employee with respect, empathy, and dignity throughout the process
Support and Assistance ๐ค
We understand that termination can be a challenging and stressful experience for employees, and we are committed to providing support and assistance during and after the process. This includes:
๐ Providing counseling, coaching, and other resources to help employees cope with the emotional and practical aspects of termination ๐ Offering assistance with career transition, such as job search support, resume writing, and networking opportunities ๐ฉโ๐ผ Providing references or other assistance as needed to help employees secure future employment opportunities
